The fit out is complete at Henry and the Fox

Michael Fox plating up - roasted lamb loin, broad beans, peas, yoghurt, baby cos, frisee, mint

The fit out at Henry and the Fox is somewhat of a showcase of Paul Mathis' two other loves - outside of food and beverage.  These are collecting vintage and antique furniture and homewares, and a very strong concern for the environment.

Henry and the Fox, like its sibling venues FirechiefGoldilocks and the soon to open Akachochin and The Sharing House (both at South Wharf Promenade) has inherited family traits - courtesy of recycled materials salvaged during the builds now common to each.  We will leave it to you to work out what these are.

Green is the favoured colour at Henry, which sits comfortably with the heavy use of timber - formerly part of the historic wharf at South Wharf Promenade.  The fit out is casual, warm and fun with (hopefully!) just the right amount of sophistication.  Much like the food from Head Chef, Michael Fox (The Age Good Food Guide Young Chef of the Year 2011).
